Kate (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is the master chef at the trendy 22 Bleecker Street Restaurant in Manhattan. She runs her kitchen at a rapid pace as she coordinates the making and preparing of all the fantastic meals and personally displays the food to perfection on every dish. She intimidates everyone around her, so her boss sends her to therapy. Kate hates to leave the kitchen when a customer wants to compliment her on one of her special dishes, but she is ready to leave the kitchen in a second when a customer insults her cooking. Kates sister is killed in a car accident and her nine-year old daughter Zoe (Abigail Breslin) moves in with Kate. With all of Kates problems, the boss hires a new chef to join the staff. Nick (Aaron Eckhart) is a rising star in his own right and could be the head chef of another restaurant, but he wants to work under Kate. Kate begins to feel threatened by Nick, because he has a different style of running the kitchen. Nick loves to listen to opera when he cooks and to make the staff laugh. With all that is going on in Kates life, falling for a man is the last thing she was looking for. There is some kind of chemistry between Kate and Nick that can only go one way. Synopsis
Sydney White hopes to fill in what she believes are fairly big shoes that belonged to her late mother by joining Kappa, her mother's sorority. As is to be expected, the sorority president is the stereotypical snob who despises Sydney's natural charm, skill at pledge tasks, and of course, the attraction between Sydney and the Beta president, the Kappa's former beau. Sydney is humiliated in front of the entire sorority ball but bounces back through befriending 7 less-than-popular nerds down the street. They mutually help each other meet their goals of becoming more "normal"(the dorks) and able to make the campus friendly for all types of students (Sydney). It is a good, relatively clean movie, with mainly the B-word and the A- word the extent of any foul language (nowadays it appears that this is no big deal unfortunately) which many not sit well with younger audiences. But the message of acceptance and empowerment was a positive one and I found myself tearing up a few times!

Plot Outline : A team of U.S. government agents is sent to investigate the bombing of an American facility in the Middle East.
Synopsis
Americans living and working in a secure American compound in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are out enjoying themselves playing baseball when suddenly terrorists breach the compound and begin shooting everybody in sight. The terrorists succeed in their mission, killing hundreds of Americans, including men, women, children, and an FBI special agent. A team of FBI counter-terrorism agents (led by Jamie Foxx) want to go to Saudi Arabia and investigate the attack, but the U.S. State Department says no, but with a little pressure, they end up going anyway. Once in Saudi Arabia they find themselves isolated and unable to investigate the crime scene by orders from Saudi officials. The governmental bureaucracy and cultural differences cause conflict between both of them. The Saudi troops know that the FBI agents are targets of the terrorists, and they dont want another disaster on their hands. However, when the American agents become friends with a Saudi police officer, they begin to work together to bring the terrorists to justice.
